John Lopez, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Co-Founder & Clinical Director, MindSolutions Psychiatry
John Lopez is a bilingual, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with doctoral-level training (DNP) and a deep commitment to delivering thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care. He has treated the full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses across inpatient, outpatient, and telepsychiatric settings, enabling him to approach care with diagnostic depth, clinical adaptability, and a strong therapeutic presence.
His advanced training and clinical experience includes consult-liaison psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, perinatal psychiatry, and trauma-informed care. This foundation allows him to integrate systems-based thinking with person-centered treatment that honors each patient’s unique context.
As co-founder and clinical director of MindSolutions Psychiatry, John provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care for adolescents, adults, and perinatal clients. His work is guided by the belief that healing begins with connection—strengthened by evidence-based care and cultural understanding.

Dr. Angelica Larios, MD, MPH

Co-Founder & Medical Director, MindSolutions PsychiatryDr. Angelica Larios is a bilingual, board-certified psychiatrist with a Master’s degree in Public Health and certification in psychotherapy. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, where she was consistently recognized for her clinical excellence, professionalism, and deep empathy in patient care.
She completed her psychiatry residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she received comprehensive training across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, consult-liaison, and specialty care settings. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of populations and conditions, including child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP), substance-related disorders, veterans' mental health, and geriatric mental health.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Larios has delivered care via secure telepsychiatry, helping individuals navigate complex emotional and psychiatric needs with structure, clarity, and compassion. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, therapeutic connection, and a commitment to meeting patients where they are—with insight, integrity, and care.
